AMERICAS SHIP TYPES: BRIG

A brig is a vessel with two square-rigged masts. During the Age of Sail, brigs were seen as fast and maneuverable and were used as both naval war ships and merchant ships. They were especially popular in the 18th and early 19th centuries.

TSS Brigg
10 Cannons
25 Hit points (10 Armor, 15 Structure)
All over lenght 27 meters
2 Iron angels, 40 with squares lowerd and 44 with squares raised

On a Brigg the square sails are used to be faster on aft winds and they are lowered when sailing close to the wind. So it is best to lower the sails when the windangel is below +-90 and raise when its over +-90.
